Yes! TOWNSQ is Live
June 2, 2018
Finally! It seems TOWNSQ (pronounced town square) is open for business. Homeowners @ Lake Forest Shores can now register and gain access to the app for the latest news & events, online polls, retrieve and download documents, submit service requests, make online payments and interact with your neighbors (including the Board) via the forum.
The registering process is quite simple:
1. Select "Need to register?"
2. Input your account number (found on your billing invoice)
3. Input your zip code
4. Your account information will be generated
5. Select "Don't have an account?" - Signup
6. Input an email address
7. Create your Password
This will give you access to the members area. When navigating throughout the members area, the menu is located on the left side and your member profile link is in the top right:
Feed:
Homepage of the members area (see above screenshot).
News & Events:
Postings of important information, such as upcoming projects, monthly board meetings, etc.
Requests:
Submit your maintenance requests, report incidences, security issues, neighborhood concerns, etc.
Messages:
Receive private messages from Associa PCM.
Forum:
Start interacting with your neighbors. Say what's on your mind.
Polls:
Make your opinions count. Let the community know how you feel.
Access Control:
Authorize guests or service providers for a specific amount of time to the community. (I'm not sure how exactly this works, but maybe it is for your knowledge in keeping track of visitors.)
Reservations:
Book and reserve amenities for upcoming parties. (Unless they are allowing reservation of the pool area, I can't think of anything else.)
Documents:
View (Download) governing documents, meeting agendas & minutes.
Assignments:
Listing of upcoming, pending & completed projects.
In my opinion, TOWNSQ can be a valuable tool for the residents of Lake Forest Shores. It will depend on how active the Board, the homeowners and yes, the property management company become in using its features.
