Fireworks & Everything July

July 3, 2018

It's going to be a firework celebration nationwide, but don't forget about the 4th of July pool party celebration at the Lake Forest Beach and Tennis Club from 9am - 6pm which will be offering a delicious BBQ served by the Boy Scouts with plenty of other goodies that will satisfy your taste buds. There will be plenty of fun-filled activities with music, dancing, games and contests.

For the adults, the poolside bar will be open from 11:00am - 4:00pm (Cash Only). No outside alcohol will be allowed at the event. All coolers, bags and backpacks will be checked at the main entrance.

The fee is $7 per person ages 11 years and older, and no guest passes will be accepted for this event.

Also, there will be a Fourth of July parade in our very own City of Lake Forest from 10am - 12pm starting on the corner of Toledo Way and Ridge Route Drive, and will end on Serrano Rd. & Dayton Dr. Parking will be available at the back parking lot of El Toro High School.

As in every year, show off your patriotism, wear your red, white & blue with pride, and have a great time with your family & friends!

Now for the everything July section:

Southern California Edison ("SCE") will be performing a "maintenance power outage" on July 11, 2018 from 8:00am - 3:00pm. This means SCE will be performing maintenance on the electrical system in our area will cause outages to the power for an unknown length of time: minutes, hours or the full duration - no worries, the last one hardly ever happens.

This work will ensure the electrical grid gets a needed upgrade to stay up-to-date and maintain reliability. Accordingly, please plan ahead and prepare to be without electricity for periods of time.

Notwithstanding, please take notice the monthly scheduled Board meetings have changed to the 3rd Wednesday of each month and is open to all homeowners starting at 6pm. Furthermore, the information posted on this website may be incorrect at times, due to lack of obtainable information; therefore, please do not rely solely on this website. At times, you may want to check the latest agenda posting in the pool area.

Lastly, the Lake Forest Beach & Tennis Club has a ton of summer activities planned throughout the month(s):

Sunday Poolside Bar
Sunday afternoon was meant to be relaxing by the pool with you neighbors and friends over cocktails.

Movies on the Beach
Bring the family and watch favorite movies under the stars on the North Beach, such as "Lady and the Tramp (07/13), Despicable Me 3 (07/20), Pete's Dragon (07/27), Coco (08/10), Cars 3 (08/17) and The Jungle Book (08/24)".

Friday Night Bar & Karaoke
Sing, dance and join others at the bar in having fun and releasing your stress from work on Fridays from 7pm - 11pm. All guests are welcome to attend w/ a member and $5 fee per guest.

Everyday Fun Stuff
Take advantage of everything that is being offered by relaxing at the lagoon, splashing around in the pools, sweating it out at the gym, burning calories playing tennis, basketball or volleyball, and if it gets too hot outside, then go inside to the lounge area for free AC, WiFi and comfy chairs.
